Hello Ramblers. Well, our little web app is about to go primetime. Welcome to a better life. :)
So, what is it? HappyRambles is the easiest way to create and maintain a gratitude journal for life. So what you ask? Allow me to retort.
Studies report people are 25% happier and more energetic if they keep gratitude journals, have 20% less envy and resentment, sleep 10% longer each night and wake up 15% more refreshed, exercise 33% more and show a 10% drop in blood pressure compared to persons who do not. Need more?
One word: Oprah. Need even more? Oh, it’s free.
So why did we create HappyRambles? Well, the past couple of years have been challenging for me. I got married, mortgaged a house, quit my job, started up (and shut back down) a social enterprise, had my dying father move in with us, tried to have a baby, and my wife promptly left me as I watched my father wither away (on New Year’s even no less). Oh, and she got pregnant a few weeks after she abandoned us (with another man’s child). Ouch.
So, I started doing some research on happiness. What is it? How do we attain it? How can we sustain it? And thus, HappyRambles was born.
I am happy to say it has been working for me, and I think it will to the same to you.
So if you have a moment, sign up, send us feedback at your leisure, and above all, ramble on.
